Gelled water is water that has a thick, slimy consistency to it. Gelled water is caused by using polymer-based products in conjunction with the spa's Ozonator.

To resolve this problem, you must refill your spa after soaking overnight in a vinegar solution as described next:

  1. Add one full gallon of white distilled white vinegar to the spa water

  2. Run all pumps and blowers for at least one hour

  3. Turn off these pumps and blowers and let the water sit in the spa uninterrupted overnight

  4. Drain and refill the spa

Do not use the following spa chemicals with your Ozonator:

  • Clarifiers

  • Perfect pH

  • De-foamers

  • Any other polymer-based chemicals
