Odors are usually caused by low bromine levels in the water. This is typically caused by heavy use or by improper maintenance. First check your solution level.

If maintenance level is proper, try shocking the spa water. To do this:

  1. Add one packet of ClaraBoost™ to the spa water

  2. Turn on the pump and circulate the water for at least 12 hours

If shocking the water does not work, change the spa water (see draining and refilling).

Make sure that you clean your cover and filters with low-sudsing cleaners and thoroughly rinse them with clean warm water.
