Draining your spa is a simple task requiring a common garden hose.

  1. Turn off the main circuit breaker to your spa

  2. Route the male end of the garden hose downhill to a safe drainage point

  3. Locate the drain bib at the bottom of the side panel of your spa

  4. Unscrew the protective cap no the drain bib and connect the garden hose to it

  5. Twist the drain bib counter-clockwise until it stops

  6. Pull the bib outward to open the drain

  7. Once drained, push the bib inwards to close the drain

  8. Twist the bib clockwise until it stops

  9. Unscrew the garden hose and screw on the protective cap

If your spa is installed in such a way as to prevent you from draining the spa in this manner, you can:

  1. Turn on the pump to your spa

  2. Route the female end of the garden hose downhill to a safe drainage point

  3. Take the male end of the garden hose and hold it next to one of the jets

  4. After the water begins to flow out of the other end of the hose, put the male end at the lowest point in the spa

  5. Turn off the pump and then turn off the main breaker to your spa

  6. Once drained, remove the hose from the spa
