Now it's time to fill your spa with water.Do not turn on the electricity yet until the spa is completely filled. Do this by:

  1. Make sure that the filters (in the filtration canister) are gently screwed into place. Turn them clockwise to tighten until they stop and then 1/16 turn after that being careful not to over-tighten them

  2. Connect a standard garden hose to a faucet with regular cold tap water (not softened water or hot water)

  3. Put the Aqua Clara pre-filter on the other end of the hose, put the pre-filter into the skimmer basket, and turn on the hose

  4. Fill the spa until the water level is about 1" above all jets or 1/4 inch below the top of the Weir door

  5. Turn off the hose and check again for any small leaks
