Annual Operating Costs

The annual costs to operate your spa will vary based on how often it is used, the climate in which you live, its location in your yard, and other various factors. Your local power company can assist you in arriving at an accurate figure on this or any new appliance that you bring into your home before you purchase it, usually free of charge.

If you want to lower your operating costs, try the following suggestions.

  • Move your spa to a sunny location. Spas installed in sunny locations can use up to 5% less electricity than those installed in the shade

  • Install your spa in a wind-sheltered location. Spas installed in calm locations can use up to 5% less electricity than those installed in wind-prone sites. You can also plant shrubs and/or install fencing to aid in wind control
